"A great success" the EMBO Workshop in Hersonissos, 25-28 May 2015

The EMBO Workshop on Developmental Circuits in Aging organized by George Garinis and Björn Schumacher was held in the vibrant city of Hersonissos next to the deep blue Cretan sea.
The workshop was a great place to catch up on current European life science research in the broadest possible sense. This unique event covered the breadth of the life sciences in Europe. Instead of
concentrating on a single field, the meeting was ideal in gaining an overview of current research across the fields of development and aging.
Our fellows were able to attend as part of the aDDRess – ITN and exchange scientific information across a broad range of topics. The EMBO Workshop brought together researchers and Marie Curie fellows of the aDDRess , CodeAge and Marriage Marie Curie Networks .
All in all this EMBO Meeting was a great success and provided a rare chance for so many Marie Curie fellows to come together to share their ideas and present their work.
