Organizing outreach activity: aDDRess Open Day

The aDDRess Open Day is an Outreach Activity, aiming to introduce high school and undergraduate students, as well as the general public, to the DNA repair and Ageing field of study. Research advancements and future study plans regarding the work undertaken will also be addressed by the recruited to the framework of Initial Training Networks (ITN) young scientist (ESR) Kyriakos Agathagellou.
Furthermore, visitors will be informed about the training opportunities provided by EU Marie Curie programs. Initial Training Networks (ITN) offers early-stage researchers the ability to improve their research skills, join established research teams and enhance their career development prospects.
The Open Day will be held in conjunction to the Research Night on Friday 26 of September 2014 at the main building of FORTH (detailed direction will follow).
The Open Day will comprise interactive question & answer sessions on spot and selected lab tours through the facilities, given mostly by the ESR from aDDRess at FORTH;
The set up and the organization of the aDDRess Open Day Event has been performed by Mrs. Eugenia Tabakaki (Project Manager of aDDRess).
Everyone is welcome to participate and interact.
